Commercial Touchless Faucet Specification & Field Evidence
Selected evidence emphasizes infrared sensing, vandal resistance,
automatic shutoff, AC/DC power, sensor-zone adjustment, service access
and high-traffic commercial deployment.
6 New Models
Different from previous commercial touchless review blocks
0.3 sec
Commercial rapid-response sensor architecture represented
AC / DC
Hardwired plus battery strategies represented
Wall + Deck
Multiple architectural mounting conditions represented
Sensor Zone Commissioning
The detection field should be confirmed after the basin, countertop and
lighting are installed because reflective materials can influence infrared behavior.
Vandal & Duty-Cycle Resistance
Public restrooms require stronger bodies, controlled maximum run time and
valve architecture capable of repeated daily activation.
Maintenance Accessibility
Solenoids, strainers, batteries and power supplies should remain accessible
without removing the complete faucet assembly.

High-Traffic Infrared
Verified Spec
Commercial Automatic Sensor Faucet
BathSelect™ Commercial Automatic Hands-Free Sensor Faucet
Product Code: BSTR500RR
Fast Sensor + Controlled Shutoff
This commercial faucet platform combines active infrared sensing,
approximately 0.3-second response, a short shutoff delay and an anti-vandal
maximum run-time limit for demanding public restroom applications.
Specification relevance:
A defined response time, sensing range and maximum run time provide more
meaningful commercial criteria than simply describing the faucet as “automatic.”

Vandal-Resistant
Verified Spec
Polished Chrome Commercial Faucet
BathSelect™ Commercial Automatic Motion Sensor Faucet
Product Code: BSTR503RR
Commercial Duty Architecture
This commercial configuration combines a vandal-resistant brass faucet body,
infrared smart-chip control, automatic shutoff, water-resistant solenoid
housing and AC/DC operating flexibility.
Lifecycle relevance:
The combination of vandal resistance, protected valve components and
serviceable filtration is more useful for facility evaluation than appearance alone.

Hotel / Public Facility
Verified Spec
Commercial Hotel Sensor Faucet
BathSelect™ Commercial Hotel Automatic Motion Sensor Sink Faucet
Product Code: BSTR5122RR
Hospitality & Public-Restroom Configuration
This configuration is positioned for hotels, restaurants, public buildings
and other commercial lavatories where hands-free water control is exposed
to repeated guest and public use.
Facility relevance:
Hotels and public buildings should evaluate repeated sensor cycling,
cleaning exposure and service access—not merely first-day faucet performance.

Adaptive Sensor Logic
Verified Spec
Brushed Nickel Commercial Sensor Faucet
BathSelect™ Lano Commercial Automatic Sensor Faucet
Product Code: BST877T
Self-Adjusting Detection Zone
The faucet uses micro-computer-controlled infrared sensing intended to
self-adjust the effective detection zone according to basin color and shape,
with manual sensing-range adjustment also available.
Technical relevance:
Adaptive sensing is particularly valuable where different sink materials
and shapes would otherwise require repeated manual recalibration.

Wall-Mount Commercial
Verified Spec
Wall-Mounted Sensor Faucet
BathSelect™ Brio Antique Bronze Commercial Wall Mount Sensor Faucet
Product Code: BST-293AG
Wall-Mount Basin Coordination
The wall-mounted configuration changes the engineering relationship between
sensor location, basin depth, backsplash, spout projection and the water
landing point inside the sink.
AEC relevance:
Wall-mounted touchless faucets should be coordinated before wall finishes
are closed because rough-in depth and basin geometry directly affect performance.

Matte Black + Gold Sensor Faucet
BathSelect™ Queen Commercial Automatic Motion Sensor Faucet
Product Code: BSTHD508-MB
Architectural Finish Without Manual Contact
This configuration shows that commercial automatic operation can be specified
with a more architectural matte-black and gold finish while retaining
hands-free water control.
Design relevance:
Finish selection can change the visual language of a commercial restroom,
but sensor stability, shutoff logic and maintainability remain the core criteria.

Commercial Touchless Faucet Specification Matrix
| Specification Criterion |
Why It Matters |
Supporting Faucets |
Priority |
| Infrared Detection |
The faucet must detect natural hand placement without requiring users
to search for the sensing zone.
|
All featured faucets
|
Critical |
| Response Time |
Fast activation improves usability and reduces repeated hand movement
under the spout.
|
BSTR500RR • BSTR503RR
|
Very Strong |
| Automatic Shutoff |
Predictable valve closure limits unattended water flow and reduces water waste.
|
BSTR500RR • BSTR503RR • BST877T
|
Critical |
| Maximum Run Time |
Anti-vandal run-time limits help prevent continuous water flow if the
sensor remains blocked.

What This Commercial Touchless Faucet Set Adds
Sensor Performance Must Be Commissioned
Final testing should occur with the actual sink, countertop, lighting and
backsplash installed rather than relying solely on factory sensor settings.
Commercial Faucets Are Service Systems
The faucet body is only one part of the assembly. Solenoid valves,
strainers, power supplies and sensing controls all influence lifecycle reliability.
Wall and Deck Faucets Are Not Interchangeable
The mounting condition changes rough-in planning, sensor position,
water landing point and maintenance access even when the electronic logic is similar.
BathSelect™ Commercial Touchless Faucet Evidence Methodology
This section uses a separate commercial-touchless product set
from the prior BathSelect touchless-faucet blocks.
Previously featured products such as B-D651C, BS1097N, B510-BN,
BS1094-B, BS1094-CR, BST514-N and BST514-SN are intentionally
not repeated.
The products were selected for useful specification differences involving
response time, vandal resistance, sensor-zone adjustment,
wall vs. deck mounting, AC/DC power, valve protection and maintenance access.
Where no trustworthy reviewer record was available for an exact SKU,
the card is clearly marked Verified Spec rather than assigning
an invented customer name or testimonial.
A review-database entry was also excluded where the product code
BS131SF had been categorized as an automatic/sensor faucet,
because the current BathSelect product page identifies BS131SF as a conventional
single-handle bathroom sink faucet.
Product images are configured to display at 400px or larger
